Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18932 (20H1) was recently published by Microsoft to the Insider in the Fast Ring. A lot of fresh characteristics, fixes, and efficiency improvements came with the update. The new Magnifier UI was one of the new features that remained unnoticed. The new UI now supports the Light theme and, most importantly, it is transparent!
It’s just the start, and in the Windows 10 20H1 update, the Windows manufacturer is working to further tweak the ancient Magnifier UI. A software engineer from Microsoft, Shou-Ching Schilling, verified that the Windows team is in the midst of making some adjustments to the Magnifier UI while responding to a tweet.
I use the magnifier a lot and today, after installing this build, I noticed another "change" that they don't mention, the option to "collapse the magnifier window to a floating transparent magnifying glass" doesn't appear, I hope it's a temporary bug due to the changes they made. pic.twitter.com/0pnfD9Y1RO— Leopeva64 (@Leopeva64) July 4, 2019
